RE: what things to see on Great river road?
Near Prarie du Rocher, right on the river, is an old fort. I think it is De Chars or something like that. It was built by the French, ceded to England and is now partly rebuilt. It is very interesting.

People who have Dutchmen units tend to do a lot of complaining about them so Dutchmen does not want a forum. Dutchmen want to sell a unit then distance themselves as much as possible from the buyer.

I installed the Equa-Flex on my trailer but did not notice and difference in the bouncing of the trailer. My trailer however does have shocks. From what I read the ones without shocks do receive some benifit.

If you are sure you will "never" camp when it is below freezing than an enclosed underbelly is not necessary. Remember, "never" is a long time.

Just east of the main north entrance there is a RV park. Don't remember the name but it had "Ranch" in it. It's about 15 miles SE of the park entrance.

I have used the refrigator filters from Home Depot but I had to trim a little on the conectors to make it work. You could also remove the connectors from the old filter and replace the ones on the new one.

US 65 from Des Moines to Sedalia is a good road. You will not have any trouble. It is 4 lane from Marshall to Sedalia.

I would not go anywhere that I felt I needed a firearm. I know in Missouri firearms are not allowed in state parks so why carry one if you can not have it accessable. If you must have a fire arm I would suggest a pump shotgun. There is nothing like the sound of the pump action to deter a would be trouble maker.
